YAMS is a web-based application which allows ESU 10 E-mail account holders to log in and update E-mail account settings. To log in to YAMS and update your settings, follow these instructions.

1. Open the YAMS web page with your web browser (Internet Explorer, Safari, Firefox, etc.) at this URL: http://yams.project42.k12.ne.us
   

2. Log in with your ESU 10 E-mail address and your ESU 10 E-mail account password
   

3. Upon successfully logging in to YAMS with your ESU 10 E-mail address and password, you will be taken to the "Home" screen. This screen contains a link labeled "Change Password." Click the "Change Password" link.
   

4. Upon clicking the "Change Password" link, a small pop-up box appears.
   

5. Enter your new password in the "Password" and "Password Again" boxes. The new password must contain at least 8 characters. The first 8 characters of the password must contain at least two alphabetic characters and at least one numeric or special character. Do not make the new password a word that can be found in a dictionary, a birth date, your phone number, a person's name, or a team mascot. Try to make the new password difficult for others to guess. A mixture of upper case letters, lower case letters, numbers, and special characters makes the best password

6. Click the "Next" button in the password pop-up box to execute your password change operation. A message will indicate if the password change was successful.
   

7. Click the "Log Out" tab at the top of the screen when you are finished using YAMS.
