If you use Appleworks to create tables on your site, you will want to modify the preferences so that it renders the correct HTML.

1. Open Appleworks 6+
2. Choose Preferences from the Appleworks Menu
3. Choose the "HTML Import/Export" submenu
4. Change the Topic: pulldown menu to "HTML Export (Advanced)"
5. Select "Close Table" from the Appleworks Attributes window
6. In the "Start Tag" window add "NEWLINE</TR>" to the beginning of the line
7. Click OK
