Teachers take a split, two day training that includes building a site with the content they bring to the class. There are several options and lots of time for them to build and work on their pages for their classroom.
Multimedia with Manila
Manila is a great tool for adding
content to web sites. The software makes it easy to add text by
incorporating a WYSIWYG editor to write html web pages. It is
nice though, to add other elements to your site other than text.
Such multimedia elements as photos, audio clips, or movies, greatly
enhance the users experience when they visit your site. This
workshop will focus on adding multimedia to engage your audience.
Manila Manager Training Agenda
Manila Managers learn the fine art of creating new Manila sites and getting a custom theme for the district. They cover most of what the teachers will work with in the teacher training also.
ESU 10 Manila Support Site
Manila editors may enhance their sites in many different ways. The support site has How-To Articles for advanced enhancements. There is also a place to search sites and see what others are doing. You can either enter a search term or list sites. There is also an option to see the top 100 most popular sites and the sites that were most recently updated.
